Oct. 7, 2000 - TCC Appreciation "Picnic" and Musical Performances

On Saturday, October 7, approximately 50 people came to the TCC for an "Appreciation Picnic."  This event turned into an indoor potluck because of the chilly weather.  Besides enjoying delicious food,  Mongolian musicians, Nengar, Baler, and Narangerel sang songs about the sky and mountains of Mongolia while Tserendulam played a traditional instrument called a "shanz."   An acrobat, Otgo, amazed us with her skill. Then, KenMcGee-- an Irish folk singer from Indianapolis--and a Tibetan folksinger entertained us with their traditional songs.
