On
this day Sunday, August 19th 2001, I was so happy and pleased
to see many friends and new friends helping out on painting the
Janchub chorten, Kalachakra stupa, the main building, cleaning
inside and outside and weeding around the whole center. After
all the painting and cleaning it was also a pleasure to have
our two resident monks reconsecrate the chorten with all of you
present.
I
personally would like to thank all those who came out to help
us on Sunday, especially Stephen Hayes and his students, who
made a donation and donated all the paints and supplies for this
event. Also my eldest son Lhundrup Norbu, who worked hard a week
before prepping and cleaning the whole areas of the building
and stupas.
Thank
you all for keeping the faith and support of the Tibetan Cultural
Center.
