Mind and Body Awareness Weekend

Action Meditation Mandala | Hatha Yoga and Tai-Chi Chih

Please join us for a Weekend of Mind and Body Awareness to be held May 10th and 11th at the Tibetan Cultural Center, 3655 S. Snoddy Road, Bloomington, Indiana

May 10th: ACTION MEDITATION MANDALA

Saturday evening, May 10th, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm followed by an 8:30 to 9:00 pm tea-and-cookie informal social and Question-and-Answer period.

Exercises to enhance the direct experience of body and mind energies for more alive, more aware, and more awakened connection with self and others

Wear casual clothing comfortable for brief seated meditations and light movement exercises for this hands-on experience-oriented workshop led by Stephen K. Hayes, book author, member of the Black Belt Hall of Fame, founding director of SKH Quest Center network, spiritual seeker, and old friend of the Norbu family.

$25 contribution - All proceeds from the workshop will be used to support the ongoing operation of Thubten Jigme Norbu’s Tibetan Cultural Center


May 11th: HATHA YOGA AND TAI-CHI CHIH

Sunday, May 11th 1:00 - 3:00 P.M.

A beginning class of Hatha Yoga and Tai-Chi Chin will be conducted by Instructor Barbara Thompson of the Yoga - Tai-Chi Chuan Studios of Linda Mitchell. Barbara has 35 years teaching experience. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing and bring a blanket or mat. If the weather is especially nice, these sessions may meet outside, otherwise they will be held in the main building at TCC.

Cost is $15.00 per person - Proceeds will support the ongoing operation of the Tibetan Cultural Center.
