In June there was a a special
ritual prayer blessing of the stautes that will be placed in
the chamtse Ling Temple. The prayers and mantras are called Zung
Durp.
. . .Khensure Rinpoche and our resident
monks chanted special prayers and used the ritual Drums called
damarus, which function to summon or invoke all of the Buddhas,
inspiring them with great joy.
. . .For months prior to this ceremony the
monks worked very hard rolling and preparing the mantras that
were placed inside the statues of the various Deities and Bodhisattvas.
