Sunday Meditation and Dharma Teachings

The Tibetan Cultural Center welcomes back
Ven. Ngawang Wangchuk.

Ven.Wangchuk

Ven. Wangchuk, born near Lhasha, Tibet, joined the Drepung Monastary at age 19. There he studied all 16 classes of Buddhist Philosophy with Geshe Yonten Dhamchoe and Geshe Tenzin. He has also studied Traditional Tibetan Religious painting with Tenpa Choephel, formally of Lasha and now the Master of a large school of painting in India. Behind him in the photograph you see some of the work he did in preparation for the Kalachakra initiation lead by H.H. the Dalai Lama in 1999. You can see this and other paintings by Ven. Wangchuk when you visit the Tibetan Cultural Center.
